Our entire "Footprints family" is committed to providing fiscally sound, quality, responsive and efficient services for individuals with developmental and mental health disabilities and substance abuse issues.

The three partners, leading the Senior Management Team, bring a total of more than 45 years of cumulative experience in the human services field. They, and our competent staff of over two hundred trained and qualified professionals assist individuals and families, who select Footprints as their services provider.

Richard Anderson, Executive Director

Richard Anderson has extensive clinical and administrative experience working with persons, who have developmental disabilities, mental health and substance abuse issues. This includes management of a large regional case management program, a developmental disabilities program and responsibilities for program quality improvement. As one of theFootprints partners, Mr. Anderson also serves as President of the company.

Douglas Gallagher, Director of Human Resources

Doug Gallagher oversees all human resource activities of Footprints. He has diverse human resource experience, including serving as an Employee Relations specialist in the field of services to persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance abuse. Mr. Gallagher is a partner and Vice President of the company.

John Gibbons, Director of Operations

John Gibbons has management responsibility for all business operations of Footprints. He has experience as a clinical manage,r working with individuals with disabilities, and extensive administrative skills in financial leadership and quality assurance. As a partner, Mr. Gibbons also serves as a Vice President.

Heather Browning, Clinical Director

Heather Browning is responsible for the management of all clinical services. She has a wealth of experience with case management, program supervision, working with community partners and other stakeholders. Heather oversees the provision of quality Clinical services and is a member of the Senior Management team.

Kathy Ellis, HIM Coordinator

Kathy Ellis is responsible for coordinating and supervising the Health Information Management (HIM) staff at Footprints. She brings over twelve years of experience in the Health Information field, as well as experience working with quality iimprovement and customer accounts.

Lori Gordon, Office Coordinator

Lori Gordon is responsible for coordinating and supervising the administrative support team of Footprints Carolina. She brings over thirty years of experience in business management and office coordination. Lori also has a strong background in policy and procedure development.

William C. Tremitiere, Community Relations Coordinator

Bill Tremitiere is responsible for communications, community outreach, customer relations, and proposal and policy development. He came to Footprints with over forty years of experience in: community relations; human services program management; advocacy for persons with special needs; resource development and mental health counseling.

Our Qualifications and Commitment

The Footprints Carolina staff understand the needs and challenges of our customers. We have an effective, service system designed to minimize administrative layers and to place emphasis on providing them with appropriate and timely services and supports.

Our staff are well qualified and have extensive experience assisting people with developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance abuse issues. Most of our staff have worked for various private and public mental health agencies such as: Pathways, CenterPoint Human Services, the Western Highlands Network, Mecklenburg County MH/DD/SA Area Authority, Cumberland Mental Health Services, the Foothills LME and Mental Health Services of Catawba County.

Priority is placed on making our services available and assessable to our customers. The locations of our service offices and the time periods that staff are available are intended to respond effectively to their needs.

Furthermore, we ensure a smooth transition of services for those, who select Footprints as their provider, and to assisting them on an ongoing basis - with compassion and respect.

We're also committed to providing effective services on behalf of the Local Management Entities (LMEs), which monitor the provision and quality of our services.
